Welcome to the official website for Liberty Day's Celebration America program! This is the official place for all the information you need to know about the program and the place to learn about how you can get involved in this excellent opportunity for college and high school students!
Check out the Celebration America blog!
Liberty Day's Celebration America program is all about engaging high school and college students in a unique, one-of-a-kind civics in learning experience.
The Students As Teachers Program: Liberty Day is working with organizations in more than 10 states to mobilize these students to go into 5th grade classes to teach 5th graders about the U.S. Constitution, known as the Students As Teachers Program. Volunteers, known as "Constitution Coaches," are recruited and trained before going out into their communities to teach 5th graders about the constitutional basics that will instill in them a fundamental understanding of the foundations of the U.S. government.
The Constitution Day Conference: Liberty Day's Celebration America program also consists our annual Constitution Day Celebrations for high school students, held annually in the fall at the University of Colorado Denver. This experience presents high school students with a chance to listen to and meet individuals involved in the government and political process on a day-to-day basis.
The purpose of Liberty Day's Celebration America program is to inform students about the Constitution, inspire them to action, and involve them in the political process in a fun, interactive, and engaging manner.
